I photograph places that sit just outside our regular attention; structures built to serve, guide, or gather people, now paused in time. Drive-in screens without cars, folded umbrellas waiting for summer, roadside food stands closed between seasons, benches facing open water, signs that warn or direct with no one there to listen. These are not dramatic moments. They are quiet ones.

My work is rooted in observation and return. I’m drawn to the geometry of everyday architecture, the way colour fades, how weather and use leave marks. Lighthouses, small buildings, walls, signage, and working landscapes appear again and again; not as symbols, but as facts. They exist. They remain. They hold potential, more likely memories without explanation.

These photographs are made to be lived with. Printed carefully, they reward slow looking and familiarity. Over time, details emerge: A hand painted letter, a worn edge, a stroller, a horizon line that settles the image. The images don’t ask for attention, they keep it.

I work primarily in series, allowing meaning to build across images rather than in a single frame. Each photograph stands on its own, but together they form a quiet record of places shaped by purpose and passing time.
