Three Photographs, One Step Forward
Today I submitted three photographs to Alamy: Church Door, Greenhouse, and Pumpjack.
It may be a modest beginning, but it feels like an important one.
Each image had to be carefully prepared and examined at full size. Dust spots were removed, details checked, colour profiles confirmed, metadata inspected, and final JPEGs created according to Alamy’s requirements. After all that work, the photographs are now waiting for quality control.
Beach Volleyball Net
Not empty places exactly, because there is usually something there if I slow down long enough to notice it. A building. A fence. A doorway. A sign. A shed. In this case, a beach volleyball net standing by itself on the sand.

Recently I had a TIA.
It was not something I expected, and it stopped me cold. Five days in hospital gives a person time to think, whether they want to or not. Time feels different when your body suddenly reminds you that nothing is guaranteed. I am recovering. Slowly. Some days are clearer than others.
Winter Thaw

After so many years and so many tries my blog and website is becoming real. Will many see it, look at my images, read my thoughts and even buy prints? Who knows!
