Newlandscapes is my way of naming the places we live with, even when we barely notice them. These photographs look at the modern landscape as something built, patched, repurposed, and quietly maintained, brick walls with signatures, a lone hoop and its shadow, a bicycle rack waiting, small buildings set against big sky, a closed stand by the water, a silo in a field, umbrellas folded like a lineup after the crowd has gone. Nothing here is staged, and that is the point..
